I have a 2011 Malibu LX. I would like to put this on like it's leaning backwards. I question is my local dealer would not install a tower on our boat because they said it's not designed for it. Do you have a reinforcement kit that goes underneath the gunnels to support the fiberglass so it doesn't crack or break if I do it myself?

We do not recommend installing this tower in the reversed position. We only recommend to install it how it has been designed, engineered and tested. Reversed mounting will void any warranty.
