When purchasing the Bimini top add on, is that built into the tower? Or is it a separate top. That may seem like a silly question but the only pictures I see including a Bimini are showing a tower with separate top attached to boat.

Not a silly question at all! When you buy a tower and bimini they are seperate but are designed to work together. You can install the tower frist then add the bimini later.
