I'm looking for a wakeboard rack to mount on a 2012 Sea Ray 210 SLX/SLN with the factory installed forward facing arched tower manufactured by Xtremetowers. The mount on the tower needs to be flat. There are three holes in the tower. The center hole requires a through-bolt. The other two parallel holes have a threaded inset on the outside of the tower.

How do you run wires from the wakeboard tower into the boat?
We would recommend using a wakeboard tower harness, clam shell or grommet to run from the tower to the boat.
I have an mt1 tower and fold down after every use. I want to get the over the top bimini will it fold down with tower? I know you can unscrew front and back to roll up. Will it lay down with tower?
Yes, when in the stored/booted position, the bimini will fold with tower.
Can I tow tubes/towables/inflatables from the tower OR should I use the transom eye?
Unfortunately, pulling tubes from our towers is not recommended and all warranties will be voided if our towers are used to do so. You can pull anything from a tower that the rider is holding onto the rope, such as skiing, wakeboarding, knee boarding, etc. The force that a tube puts on the tower is much greater than that of a person boarding. Often, the tube is pulled underwater some, which adds even more resistance. Tubes also come with tow rope that can hold a few thousands of pounds of force. While a ski/wakeboard rope cannot withstand the same amount of force and will break before the tower would. To remain safe, attach/hook tubes only to the tow point on the back of your boat.

Is it necessary to add extra backing for a 2003 seadoo utopia 205? I mounted it on the gun whale on back and front of boat I purchased the mk1 black tower from y’all. Just want to make sure that no extra backing was needed for my boat. I figured gun whale section of boat was thicker and sturdier than side of boat?

Anytime you are mounting a tower on a boat we will always recommend additional reinforcements underneath the fiberglass. You can use either marine grade plywood, sheet metal, or starboard. We say the more you can do, the better.

I have a 99 mastercraft sportstar. I'm looking at the Monster MTK tower. Would I need to add additional bracing? I'm not sure how thick the fiberglass is.

For the MTK Tower we recommend having a minimum of 17 inches of unobstructed fiberglass to mount the tower. If you have more than that, even better. We recommend using starboard, marine grade plywood, or sheet metal as reinforcement under the fiberglass.
