Premium Sunbrella Canvas
The premium Sunbrella Canvas construction of this bimini top will block out the sun, providing you with shade, and give you a little protection if it rains. Made of 100% solution dyed acrylic, this material will withstand constant use out on the water and in the sun. The fabric is long lasting and comes in several colors to match your boat’s look, and all of them are resistant to fading. The canvas is breathable, mildew resistant, and repels water. You will want to clean your cover to ensure a long life, and you should rinse it about once a month and let the canvas air dry. If you take care of your bimini canvas, it will increase its longevity!
Store the Bimini Without Removing It from the Tower
You do not have to remove your bimini from the tower to store it when it is not in use. With every bimini purchase, you will get a free storage boot in matching canvas. First, you will need to fold your bimini. The legs will come together, and you will secure them in place with velcro straps. Then you’ll push the canvas fabric into the boot, and secure it with a strap to keep the bimini in place. With this foldable design, you’ll be able to fold and unfold your bimini easily, whether you are out on the water or back at the dock. Not only is it easy, you will not have to remove the bimini from the tower!
Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Fittings
For the best performance and longest life on your boat, Monster Tower's Over the Top Bimini comes standard* with stainless steel fittings. Stainless steel offers a much stronger fit than competitive plastic and composite materials and withstands the stresses of higher on-the-water speeds. Additionally, the stainless finish better matches your bimini’s frame for a clean, modern look.
* The MTK Version 1 bimini (for MTKs purchased prior for April 2014) comes with nylon fittings to match the original design
Trailering a Boat with a Bimini
Monster Tower biminis are rated for speeds up to 45 mph on the water but need a little extra care when your boat is being trailered. For your convenience, you do not have to remove your bimini before you put your boat back on your trailer. When you’re ready to travel home, simply fold your bimini and stow it in the included storage boot.

Most packages ship via FedEx. When you place your order, you will have a choice of delivery timeframes (Ground, Second day, etc.). You will also receive an order confirmation which will allow you to track your shipment's progress. Keep in mind that while most items ship same day, some products require longer time to ship. International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and any other related import fees.

How do I know which MTK I have ?
You can measure the tower header. 50'' is before 2014, 60'' in the newer one. Or you can send pictures of your 5-digit serial number and we can look up your tower in our database. Email : info@monstertower.com

Does the MTK bimini top fit on an MT1 tower?
No, our over the top biminis are specific for our towers. You would need the MT1 over the top bimini for the MT1 tower.
Can the tower be folded back with the Bimini top on? I can’t tell if it folds with it. My boat lives in the garage and the tower has to fold down for it to fit inside.
Also, what is the difference between MT1 — MT2?

The MTK tower can fold down with the bimini attached in it's boot and secured to the header of the tower. On the MTE, MT1, and MT2 the bimini secured in it's boot would need to be removed to move the front legs. The MT2 is what we recommend for boats over 20 ft in length. A few key differences would be the MT2 normally has black header knobs at the top of the header section. The front legs will also be different in length The MT1 along the arc measure 69", the MT2 legs along the arc measure 85".
Are they the same on mt1&mt2
Are the Monster Tower wake board towers MT1 & MT2 the same? Our Monster Tower wake board tower front legs for MT1 are shorter than the MT2. The length on MT1 is aprox. 69" whereas, the MT2 is aprox. 84".
Will the Monster Over the Top Biminis work on a 2007 Mastercraft X-2 (with OE tower)? I would need both the frame and the canvas, and would want to understand how customizable the product is.
No, our over the tower biminis are only designed to work with our select towers.
Can the bimini top be used when utilizing the tower to pull someone?
Yes you can tow with a bimini all the way open.
How can you tell the difference from MT1 to MT2. Does the bimini work work for both?
The main difference between the MT1 and the MT2 is that the MT2 has a longer arch on the front legs while the MT1 has shorter front legs and a steeper arch.
What exactly do you measure to get the sizing?

How do I tell if my current Bimini will fit under the Tower?
Thanks for your interest in Monster Tower. Unfortunately we can’t guarantee that your current bimini top is going to work with one of our towers. Most of the time bimini tops that are on boats without towers are made wider and or taller than a tower can accommodate. There is a chance that you could remount the bimini or mount the tower in a slightly different spot than normal and they would work together. The bimini could also possibly be modified to fit under the tower by cutting down some of the bimini structure. We can’t guarantee that this will work, but we have had people successfully use their current bimini tops by doing one of these methods. I know this Bimini is designed to fit Monster towers but I looked at one today and it looks as if it would fit my Tahoe tower. Is there any way I can find out if it will my tower?
Typically, we recommend that none of our towers would work with factory biminis. We have seen cases where customers have gotten it to work, that being said there is no way to determine if it will work or not until the tower is there with the factory tower. We do off our over the top bimini for each one of our towers as they are made to work with each tower specifically.
Does it need to be folded while pulling someone by the tower?
Yes, you can tow your tower with the bimini open. The rope will go up over the bimimi and connect to the ski tow point. However, when starting and stopping, the rope may come into contact with the bimini. Once at a full-towing speed, the rope will no longer be in contact with the bimini.
Why we can't not chose the black bimini top for the mtk tower pack?
It was temporarily out of stock , but it is available now.
What is the dimensions from the front of the MTK rack to the edge of the bimini with the tower leaning forward towards the windshield?
On the MTK tower, the MTK over the top bimini would extend 3 foot towards the front of the boat and 3 foot towards the rear of the boat from the ski tow point.

- Excellent Quality and Fairly Straightforward Install 9 people found this helpfulThe quality and fit of this top is top notch. Heavy Sunbrella canvas and chromed stainless hardware. There are also vinyl wear patches on the underside where the top contacts the tower. Well thought out. If there is possibly one thing that could be improved, the instructions are not the greatest in the world. It is a one pager with one image and measurements. There are no images with the top in place or finished product. It works, but you have a little guesswork as far as exact placement of hardware. I did a mockup "test fit" install with zip ties first, zip tied all the hardware and top in place using the measurements provided. I then cut the ties one hardware piece at a time and drilled. That helped. You are drilling 12 holes in your tower, not something you want to get wrong.
