Because it is designed to mount over your boat's tower, it affords optimum headroom. And like all Monster Biminis, the Over the Top Bimini is made with Sunbrella fabric - the best marine fabric on the market - featuring a 10-year fabric warranty. Standard color is black. Premium Sunbrella Canvas
The premium Sunbrella Canvas construction of this bimini top will block out the sun, providing you with shade, and give you a little protection if it rains. Made of 100% solution dyed acrylic, this material will withstand constant use out on the water and in the sun. The fabric is long lasting and comes in several colors to match your boat’s look, and all of them are resistant to fading. The canvas is breathable, mildew resistant, and repels water. You will want to clean your cover to ensure a long life, and you should rinse it about once a month and let the canvas air dry. If you take care of your bimini canvas, it will increase its longevity!
Store the Bimini Without Removing It from the Tower
You do not have to remove your bimini from the tower to store it when it is not in use. With every bimini purchase, you will get a free storage boot in matching canvas. First, you will need to fold your bimini. The legs will come together, and you will secure them in place with velcro straps. Then you’ll push the canvas fabric into the boot, and secure it with a strap to keep the bimini in place. With this foldable design, you’ll be able to fold and unfold your bimini easily, whether you are out on the water or back at the dock. Not only is it easy, you will not have to remove the bimini from the tower!
Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Fittings
For the best performance and longest life on your boat, Monster Tower's Over the Top Bimini comes standard* with stainless steel fittings. Stainless steel offers a much stronger fit than competitive plastic and composite materials and withstands the stresses of higher on-the-water speeds. Additionally, the stainless finish better matches your bimini’s frame for a clean, modern look.
* The MTK Version 1 bimini (for MTKs purchased prior for April 2014) comes with nylon fittings to match the original design
Trailering a Boat with a Bimini
Monster Tower biminis are rated for speeds up to 45 mph on the water but need a little extra care when your boat is being trailered. For your convenience, you do not have to remove your bimini before you put your boat back on your trailer. When you’re ready to travel home, simply fold your bimini and stow it in the included storage boot.
Shipping Information
Most packages ship via FedEx. When you place your order, you will have a choice of delivery timeframes (Ground, Second day, etc.). You will also receive an order confirmation which will allow you to track your shipment's progress. Keep in mind that while most items ship same day, some products require longer time to ship. International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and any other related import fees.
Returns Policy
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, give us a call within 30 days and we can issue you an RMA. Is the Over the Top model compatible with the MK7 tower? If so, what are the dimensions?
There is an Over the Top Bimini option for the MT7. The canvas measures 72" L and 80" W.
Is the jockey red similar to the color of a red tahoe q6?
If the tahoe q6 red is a true red, yes.
We have a black biminy that was with boat when we bought this past fall. Should we treat the biminy with a water/uv repellent?
Treating the material is not required necessarily, but it never hurts to condition/clean it.

Will this Biminis top fit a MT1 or MT2?
Yes, the Over the Top Bimini has a model option for you to choose based on the tower model you have. The Biminis are made to fit each specific tower model. If you need model confirmation, please send our team a full view photo of your tower and the serial number on the header bar to info@monstertower.com.
Will this Bimini fit any tower? I don’t know if I have a monster tower or not.

Hello. I purchased my monster tower with Bimini 3.5 years ago. Summer 2021 I parked in a friends slip and the waves caused damage to the Bimini putting holes in it. Do you have a repair kit for this? Thanks so much!

- Perfect fit 1 people found this helpfulI ordered this bimini top for my 1999 Malibu Sunsetter w/ MTK Monster tower & it fit perfect. Hardware & Sunbrella fabric seem to be very high quality. Install was easy & it holds steady at high speeds. It doesn't shake or make any noise. Looks like a factory bimini top. I would definitely recommend this product.
- Room for improvement 5 people found this helpfulI was a little bit disappointed with the mounts, clamps would have been 100x better. With the screw in mounts you are left with no room for error, plus you’re drilling holes in your new tower. The instructions aren’t the most clear either. I hope all of my brand new expensive wiring didn’t get hit when I was drilling or screwing. They only swivel on one axis. The thumb screws for quick release are terrible, tiny and hurt your fingers. The way that the top folds up is difficult and could easily be remedied with mounts that swivel one 2 axis’. Once it’s up and in place it looks good and seems sturdy. For the brand and the price I expected better if I’m honest. The fabric is Sunbrella, so that’s great. It will provide shade, just not looking forward to putting it up and taking it down when I go out. I do like that it will shade my tower speakers. I have concerns about the tow rope rubbing the Bimini, but I haven’t taken it out yet. Getting the rope hooked to the tow point is also going to be a chore. 5 stars for quality of materials and overall design. 3 stars for the mounts, thumb screws, and labor intensive setup/tear down/instructions.
